Our roots

Our Story

We are a small family operation rooted in the North York Moors. Every deer we handle has been stalked on foot, by people who know the land and respect what it gives.

After dressing in the field, carcasses are transported straight to our small on-site preparation room, where they are then placed in our state of the art chiller. After maturing for a few days in the chiller, they're then butchered to order and delivered/collected the same day. Nothing sits in the freezer for weeks.

Stalked on foot

We head out at dawn. Every shot is taken responsibly, with a clean cull the only acceptable outcome.

Gralloch & chill

The deer is gralloched immediately after the shot and chilled as quickly as possible.

Butchered to order

Once your order comes in, we break down the carcass into your chosen cuts. No freezing, no mystery ageing.

Packed & dispatched

Each order is hand packed by us, and delivered directly to you.
